Course Objectives
By the end of this course, participants will:
- Be able to apply the principles of Global Diagnosis to treatment planning
- Understand the interdisciplinary approach to managing missing maxillary anterior tooth
- Learn the design, preparation, and bonding of zirconia bonded bridges
- Learn esthetic crown lengthening principles
- Improve ortho-restorative communication for ideal tooth positioning and space management with pre-orthodontic bonding
- Gain hands-on experience with:
- Esthetic Crown Lengthening Surgery
- Ovate pontic sculpting technique
- Bonded Bridge preparation
- Bonded Bridge insertion
- Pre-Orthodontic Bonding technique
Day 1 – Foundations & Planning
- 8:00 am – 8:30 am Introductions
- 8:30 am – 10:00 am Global Diagnosis & Esthetic Analysis
- 10:00 am – 10:15 am Break
- 10:15 am – noon Global Diagnosis and Treatment Planning Exercise
- Noon – 1:00 pm Lunch
- 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm Treatment options for replacement of the missing lateral incisor
- Bonded Bridge
- Canine Substitution
- 3:00 pm – 3:15 pm Break
- 3:15 pm – 5:00 pm Laboratory exercise: Preparation for bonded bridge, creation of ovate pontic site, insertion of bonded bridge
Day 2
- 8:30 am – 10 am Esthetic Crown Lengthening
- 10 am – 10:15: Break
- 10:15–noon Laboratory exercise: Esthetic Crown Lengthening
- Noon-1pm: Lunch
- 1 pm – 2:30 pm Pre- and Intermediate Orthodontic Bonding
- 2:30 – 2:45 Break
- 2:45-5pm Laboratory exercise Pre-orthodontic Bonding
